About BC Boom

ERP migration was broken. So we built an engine.

Moving onto Business Central used to mean a six-month project, a six-figure invoice, and a real chance your data didn't survive the trip. We made it fast, fixed-fee, and fully yours.

Migrations from GP · Sage · QuickBooks · NetSuite Destination: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Why we exist

The hard part was never the software.

Tens of thousands of businesses are stranded on systems that no longer fit. Dynamics GP is winding down toward end of support. Sage and QuickBooks get outgrown. NetSuite renewals climb without warning.

Everyone knows the destination is Business Central. The problem is getting there. The traditional path is a consultant-led project billed by the hour — months of discovery, a quote that's really a range, and a cutover where you hold your breath and hope the numbers still tie out.

And the "free" migration tools? They move the easy 80% — standard ledgers and accounts — then quietly abandon you at the part that actually breaks go-lives: customizations, third-party data, and the mapping nobody wants to do by hand.

We started BC Boom to end that. One automated engine to carry the data — including the hard 20%. One fixed fee, quoted before you commit. One promise that the converted data is yours at the end, no matter who you go live with.

How we operate
01

Fixed fee, or it isn't a quote.

You get the whole number up front. No hourly meter, no change orders for the data we should have scoped in the first place.

02

You own your data. Always.

The converted data is yours at the end of every engagement. Go live with us, with a partner, or with your own team — we don't hold it hostage.

03

The hard 20% is the whole job.

Anyone can move a clean general ledger. We exist for the customizations, ISV add-ons, and mapping the standard tools leave behind.

04

Scope it before you start.

A real pre-assessment tells you what's coming before you sign. The surprise belongs in the proposal, not the invoice.

05

Run in parallel. Cut over when ready.

Your current system keeps running while we build and validate the new one. You flip the switch on the day the numbers reconcile — not before.

Tooling

An AI-assisted core

Our engine maps source tables to Business Central and handles the translation work that would otherwise eat a consultant's month — repeatably, the same way every time.

Advisory

People who know the gotchas

COA explosion, subsidiary mapping, posting groups, API limits, years of messy data. The engine does the lifting; the team makes the calls that keep it clean.

Ecosystem

Built for the Microsoft stack

Business Central isn't a destination we picked at random. It's where Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power BI, and the next wave of AI agents already live.

The people behind the engine

Migration is half code, half judgment.

BC Boom pairs an automated migration engine with people who've spent careers in the Dynamics and ERP world — the ones who know where the bodies are buried in a GP database.
